Some people think they understand but not even life we begin to comprehend its strange how some are afraid to die and others are afraid just to live their lives Some believe hope comes from the sky others know hope comes from inside some think hope is just a dream but some believe dreams can become reality Some seek immortality while some wish it would all just end today and pray that life is just a bad dream. As for me? I don't pretend to know when but I know my time will come someday

Any poet can describe a sunrise but it takes someone special to paint a picture of the mind And I don't mean the cerebral, but the conscience, the psyche, the soul Cause there's a fine line between a psycho and a genius a revolutionary and an evolutionary scientist between a politician and a madman Hell, sometimes i can't even tell the difference But its this fine line that defines the mind it can send you up on a stage, or down to your grave But hey ain't it irony that the same man who invented relativity and changed society also invented the bomb, That the religion of peace is used as a reason for war, the unyieldi

I have dreams of peace and dreams of power; I have dreams of dark and dreams of light I have dreams that put me at peace, I Have dreams that keep me up at night. I don't dream of just one thing, I dream of them all. I don't just dream of the rise I dream of the fall Sometimes in my dreams I can even tell right from wrong, But always in my dreams I'm chasing something, never satisfied And never when I dream do my dreams ever truly end

If the world ended tomorrow would I really care? Would I feel sadness, would I feel despair? I'm not like the others, the millions who would be scared It's not that I don't feel fear; it's just that I feel disconnected from it all Am I content with my life, or do I deep down wish it would just end? I could revolutionize the world with my ideas, but still not understand my own brain It's not that I'm insane it's just that I'm not the same Not part of the herd, I'm my own man A pinnacle of individuality, lost in society You see it's not that I'm sadistic I'm just realistic That even when all is well that doesn't mean it ends

I sit here and think, reflect, theorize, depressing fucked up thoughts But it's not a depression, but some kind of strange dark peace; Content that the fight between good and evil can never be won, I just don't know which side I'm on A never ending story, where it feels like the dark has triumphed But the light always shines through, And in that land of darkness, only this tiny beam of light really matters But in this land called reality, the dark is the only thing we see

This is more than a joint, this is a paper plane a gateway to a higher mental state so take i take a hit to keep myself sane Its not an escape, just another way just cause you do something wrong dont make it a mistake Some say im wasting my life but whats the point in being alive if you never really live Im not out to save the world im just trying to save myself even if i have to do it one word at a time cause when you speak from the soul its the message that matters, not the rhyme  

Deep scars, reminders of a wounded body and soul. Memories of a battle field ending lives for many, changing lives for all. Scars that don't heal scars in the flesh, scars in the ground. A return to that fatal day, bullets penetrate flesh, and tear through souls. A mind that cannot rest, imprissoned in a body that can only sleep.

I feel I have come to the end of the road. The glory fading, the light failing, the storm passing. I felt that I could have done it all. Held back by my body, like i was deemed to fail. How long can I last? How long until my glass shatters, into a million bloody pieces.

The rich get richer, the poor are sent off to die. A war that means nothing, and the greed that rules the land. All follow the fool's command, and fall victim to the vindication of the land.
